Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By installing, running, or using Ghosthread AI ("the Software", "Ghosthread", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software. If you are using the Software on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Beta software — provided "as is"

Ghosthread is pre-release beta software. It is provided to you on an experimental basis to test, evaluate, and provide feedback. It is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to: merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, that any specific task will succeed, that AI-generated output will be correct, or that any particular app will be compatible.

Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without notice. Backwards compatibility is not guaranteed between beta versions.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• • Any action the Software performs on your machine, on your accounts, or on third-party services you are signed into.
• • Reviewing automations, scheduled tasks, saved commands, and workflows before running them.
• • Backing up your important files, configurations, and accounts independently.
• • Complying with all laws, regulations, and third-party terms of service that apply to how you use the Software.
• • Ensuring you have authorization to automate any app, service, account, or system the Software interacts with on your behalf.
• • Keeping your API keys, credentials, and license information secure.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Ghosthread to:

• • Violate any local, national, or international law.
• • Access, modify, or attack systems you do not own or have explicit permission to access.
• • Circumvent anti-cheat, DRM, or access-control systems.
• • Automate online games, gambling platforms, or financial trading systems where automation is prohibited by their terms.
• • Automate banking, payment, or financial accounts unless the account's terms permit it.
• • Harass, spam, defraud, or deceive anyone.
• • Generate or distribute malware, phishing content, or illegal material.
• • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Software.
• • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software without written permission.

Violation may result in immediate suspension of your access without refund and, where required by law, referral to authorities.

5. Anti-cheat and gaming policy

Ghosthread refuses to operate in gaming environments and alongside anti-cheat software. This is intentional and non-negotiable. Using the Software in violation of this policy — including attempting to bypass these restrictions — is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination.

6. Third-party applications and services

Ghosthread can interact with third-party applications, websites, and services that you have installed or signed into. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party app or service. Automating a third-party service may violate its terms of service — that is your risk to evaluate and your responsibility to manage.

We do not warrant that any specific app will remain compatible, that any third-party service will continue to allow automation, or that your use of Ghosthread with any third-party service complies with that service's terms.

7. AI-generated output

Ghosthread uses large language models and multimodal models to interpret your requests and generate plans, replies, and fixes. AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, or unexpected. We do not warrant the accuracy of any AI-generated content, plan, or suggestion. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before acting on it.

8. Privacy and data

Your data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy. In summary:

• • Files, screenshots, and personal data processed by the Software stay on your device by default.
• • We do not collect your files, and we do not sell your data.
• • Cloud reasoning is only invoked when needed, and always after the outbound privacy filter has scrubbed sensitive strings.
• • You can enable Air-Gap Mode to prevent any outbound network activity from the Software.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ghosthread, its author, its contributors, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any of the following, whether arising from contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages:

• • Loss of data, files, or content.
• • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunity.
• • Business interruption or loss of productivity.
• • Damage to hardware, software, or configuration.
• • Account suspension or termination by third-party services.
• • Reputational harm.
• • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Where applicable law does not permit the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed the amount you paid us for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim — or, if the Software was provided to you free of charge, the sum of one hundred US dollars (US$100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ghosthread, its author, and its contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• • Your use of the Software.
• • Your violation of these Terms.
• • Your violation of any third-party rights or terms of service.
• • Any action the Software takes on your behalf that causes harm to you or a third party.

11. Force majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: internet outages, cloud provider failures, third-party API changes, operating system updates, hardware failures, natural disasters, or governmental actions.

12. Intellectual property

Ghosthread is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for personal or internal business purposes during the beta period. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software.

You retain all rights to your own data, files, and content. We claim no ownership over anything you process through the Software.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Software at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the beta program. You may stop using the Software at any time and request deletion of any data we hold about you.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered beta users and reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Software shall be resolved in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
