Where is my data stored, and do my files get uploaded to the cloud? +
All persistent memory—such as learned user preferences, task receipts, and workspace topologies—is stored locally on your machine in a WAL-mode SQLite database. When reasoning models are called for complex multi-step planning, an outbound Data Loss Prevention (DLP) scanner automatically scrubs local file paths, private keys, and environment tokens beforehand.

Can Ghosthread accidentally delete critical Windows system files? +
No. Ghosthread operates under a hardcoded zero-trust security fence that blocks write or delete actions inside C:\Windows, System32, and Program Files. Additionally, all user file cleanup tasks route safely through the Windows Recycle Bin—meaning nothing is ever permanently purged without your explicit manual consent.
What are the system requirements to run Ghosthread? +
Ghosthread is natively built for Windows 11 (AMD64). It requires 4GB+ RAM, any modern multi-core processor (Intel Core i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 or higher), and an active internet connection for model routing. Because heavy computation is handled cleanly, local CPU and memory overhead remain minimal.
